Privacy Policy

We believe in privacy first. This policy, and the cookie controls available on every page, follow the consent principles of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

HammerMedia Group makes videos, photos, and other content for organizations to use in their advertising, training, and educational materials. As part of that work, we collect some personal information — from people who appear in our videos and photos, from visitors to this website, and from people who contact us about our services.

What We Collect on a Shoot

When we're filming or taking photos, we may collect: images of the people involved; their names; where and when the shoot took place; why they were there; and the organizations or people they're connected to.

How We Use and Edit It

We edit the footage and photos we capture to fit what our client needs. Everyone who appears on camera has to give their consent first. If someone didn't properly consent, we permanently delete that material as soon as the client asks us to.

Finished work belongs to the client. We may also use it to promote HammerMedia Group — for example, in our own portfolio or show reel. We keep the raw, unedited footage on file in case it's ever needed for a re-edit.

How Long We Keep It

We keep content on file indefinitely unless a client asks us to remove it. If you appear in something we've produced and want it taken down, reach out to the client directly, or email us at info@hammermediagroup.com. Because re-editing existing videos and photos takes real time and effort, we can only remove entire projects, not just parts of one — and there's no charge for this.

Cookies

This site uses cookies and similar technologies, including your browser's local storage, to operate and improve your experience. We group them into three categories:

Necessary — required for the site to function, such as remembering your cookie preferences. These cannot be turned off.

Analytics — would help us see how visitors find and use the site, like where they came from and which pages they view. Off by default, and not turned on right now.

Marketing — would show you ads based on your visit here. Off by default, and not turned on right now.

You can accept, decline, or customize which categories apply to you at any time using the “Cookie Preferences” link in the site footer. We never sell your information to third parties.

Contact Forms

If you fill out a form on our site, we keep that information for a limited time: 30 days for general contact messages, 90 days for short inquiries, 210 days for job applications, and 365 days for freelance applications. Copies may still exist after that in our email, our contact management system, or services like Mailchimp.
